PolyPurge®

PolyPurge has been designed for efficient purging and cleaning of extruders and other melt equipment in the plastics industry.

PolyPurge is a unique, non-aggressive purging concentrate for extruders, dies, and melt passages. Its action is based on a special thermally stable surfactant additive. At polymer melt temperatures, this surfactant additive penetrates and loosens build-up, disperses solid particles in the melt and forms a monomolecular releasing film on machine surfaces, helping to prevent the formation of more build-up and speeding up the displacement of one melt by the next.

PolyPurge has been specifically designed for the efficient purging and cleaning of extruders and other melt equipment in the plastics industry (film blowing dies, melt accumulators, hot runners, etc.).

PolyPurge helps to achieve short, efficient change-over of colors, grades and polymer types and also achieves cleaning out of adherent residues of pigments, fillers and degraded polymer.

PolyPurge is used both for purging on-the-run in all applications and also for shutdown purges in those machines that are not in continuous operation.
